  8. The original idea is from the Sun workstations. 
  9. Original program/idea from David Wald (1988) 
  10.  
  11. When it is time to save the screen it looks like if there is 
  12. a heat source behind the screen that makes it decay/melt. 
  13. After a while the hole screen is melted. 
  14.  
  15. How to install: 
  16. Copy DECAY.SCR to your windows directory  ( C:\windows ) 
  17. Start the Control Panel from within the Program manager and 
  18. select 'Desktop'. In the section controlling the screen saver 
  19. you can select Ferkel with the 'Drop Down Box'. 
  20.  
  21. You can set a number of options by pressing the 'Setup...' button 
  22.  
  23. Time:              - controls the time between animations 
  24. Melt Screen:       - lets the screen melt to the bottom of the screen 
  25.                      and the screen will eventually be black. 
  26.                      Otherwise just make a mess of the screen 
  27. Password Protected - do we need to type a password to get back to windows? 
  28. Set Password:      - gives a dialog box to set or change the password 
  29. About:             - An about dialog box 
  30.  
  31. After setting the options click the Ok button. 
  32. Then test if it all works and click on Ok. 
  33. Now Decay is active. 
  34.  
  35. Decay is Public Domain so feel free to make copies. 
  36.
